Why can't I signup with my own email address from the domain I'm transferring?

​Due to the fact that when we activate your hosting package, there is no way for you to receive your welcome email with all your account details. Not only that, if there's an issue with your account, such as a billing issue, and if your account becomes disabled, you will not receive any notices.

Therefore, an email address, from either Google Mail, Hotmail or similar, will be sufficient.
